Make no mistake this is a horse of which legends are made.

Born in 1990 the son of world champion Carmargue out of an Ansata Ibn Sudan daughter Bint Shantu Halima. WSA Charismma claimed his first victory as Scottsdale top ten champion placed fourth out of 58 at the tender age of 8 months and so attracted people like Paulo Gucci to make a bid for him, although the price offered was very high, his owner breeder's would not sell, rather they wanted to keep this fabulous colt and their ambition to have him shown began with his flight half way around the world to the UK the birthplace of his sire.

After going from an unknown to champion supreme in his first year here, he became very popular and was used by several outside mares as well as the stud who leased him, Silverdale Arabians. This is where I first encountered him and my dream began, I wanted to own one of his offspring so badly I used him twice before he went off to Holland, he didn't disappoint and Shantu Sequel and True Shantu were my gifts from him. Shortly after I was to meet and make life long friends with his owners Sharon Patton and Sandra Capertton. They were two of the nicest ladies you could wish to meet, their pride in this horse and his welfare knew no bounds , he was to have the best of everything. So he began his travels to many other countries in which he became a champion in all! I had kept in touch with the sisters as to his progress and we met up in Scottsdale again for a fun holiday always the conversation was Charismma.

WSA Charismma *** has been Supreme champion no less than eight times !, champion on two continents, and seven different countires, here are just a few wins recorded.
Scottsdale top ten champion , at just eight months old placed 4th out of 58 entered
cal bred top ten champion US.

1994 - UKIAHS, Towerlands - First
1994 - HoCoN AHS Show - Male Champion & Overall Supreme Champion
1995 - Royal Windsor Show - Overall Supreme Champion
1996 - Austrian International Show - First & Supreme Male Champion.
1997 - Lier, Belgium - Res. Champion.
1998 - Dutch National Show - Res. Champion.

Then in the late nineties they suggested I might like to have him on loan for a year, this I thought wonderful and he came from Holland to live here with us. He covered nine mares that year and I sadly said my goodbyes thinking he would eventually be going back to his birthplace, the US. However fate was moving in a mysterious way and I had a call from Sharon asking me if I would like to buy him. Sharon had talked to her sister and they had both decided Charismma should come and live out his life with me at Dreamfield Arabians.
I had always hinted to them he should retire from showing as he had little else to prove in the ring and although he was well looked after, he was so happy just being a horse in my paddocks. I begged my husband to let me buy him and and the rest is history!

WSA Charismma*** the international Supreme Champion in every sense of the word, and a stallion so prepotent that he continues to pass on his type, correctness, adorable kindness ,plus 'look at me' attitude to his beautiful foals. Many of his offspring have followed in his footsteps to become champions themselves ,
What ever path their owners choose for them, they are first and formost gentle, loving and aimiable horses who will walk through fire for you if you show them love. This enchanting stallion is a living legend .

I am sad to add that we have since lost Sharon Patton to illness in 2007. She was such a lovely lady, constant friend and mentor, who genuinly loved her horse WSA Charismma***. She was so proud of him and lived to see his 3 star's awarded! She will be sincerly missed by friends and family, god bless you Sharon.

WSA Charismma*** is available to approved mares only by Private Treaty as it is our aim to see that these bloodlines are kept within careful and selective breeding programmes.
