Mahkasite was one of my earlier bred foals who is now 15! She was sold, as a foal with her mother, to Sue Lewis and Justine Rodgers, now very good friends of mine. Mahkasite has been a successful mare winning at HoCoN as a 3 year old and later taking other in-hand wins and Championships. As a ridden mare, she has competed in show and dressage classes which she has won and been placed. She has also gained BD points. Mahkasite and her jockey, Justine, have over the last few years started to become more proficient in the jumping arena and have now completed some ODEs. The duo also enjoy the usual hacking out (or hoolying around the tracks!) and sponsored rides. Due to Justine's incapacitated state this year a friend took over the ride. The agreement the two reached was 'I shut my eyes and she goes as fast as she wants!'
